Clarification on AIEd Tool Usage

This presentation will serve as a guide for understanding the appropriate use of Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIEd) tools. We will demonstrate how to effectively utilize these tools in an educational setting.

Presentation Expectations

Each presentation is expected to:

  • Demonstrate the use of AIEd tools: Presenters are required to showcase how specific AIEd tools can be implemented in educational contexts.
  • Provide justification for tool selection: Explain the rationale behind choosing particular AIEd tools, highlighting their suitability for the intended educational purpose.
  • Highlight affordances and limitations: Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the selected AIEd tools, including their potential benefits and drawbacks.
  • Suggest mitigation strategies: Propose ways to address the limitations and challenges associated with using AIEd tools in education.
  • Offer recommendations for educational policy, practice, and research: Provide insights on how AIEd tools can be integrated into educational policies, practices, and research endeavors.

Research Collaboration

Two research teams are currently working on a related questionnaire. The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather data and insights that will further inform the use of AIEd tools in education.

A Note on the Ontological Imperative Analytical Framework

It is important to note that the Ontological Imperative Analytical Framework is one of the few tools available for comparing and evaluating different AIEd tools. This framework can be a valuable resource for researchers and educators alike.
